In this last month of our summer Mystery Show we jump into a month long psychedelic album series. Over the next four weeks we'll present you with some of our favorite psychedelic albums. Mythic Horse starts things off tonight with two and a half psych albums from Japan. Tonight begins with Geino Yamashirogum's first album - 1976's Osorezan-Do No Kenabi. Best know for their soundtrack to the film Akira, Geino Yamashirogum were a vocal ensemble numbering in the 70s with one side of this album backed by a psychedelic band that featured members of the Spiders. Following that we will hear side two of the genuinely freaky 1975 album Catch Wave by Takehisa Kosugi. This solo album is Mythic's favorite from this former member of Group Ongaku, Taj Mahal Travelers and prolific composer and aural artist. In the second hour we'll hear J.A. Seazar's 1973 rock opera Kokkyou Junreika.
