WXDU's annual music festival in collaboration with Duke Coffeehouse is happening tomorrow (4/7) at the Coffeehouse on Duke's East Campus! Join us from 2 PM to 2 AM for twelve hours of music, food, and vendors, featuring Xiu Xiu, Laurel Halo, Bill Orcutt, and more. DJ Robby will host filmmakers Anna Moot-Levin and Laura Green Discuss "The Providers" Documentary with Dr. Leslie Hayes, Friday 4/6 from 8-9am.
The documentary is about rural health care in northern New Mexico. It'll be a bit of a change-up from Robby's normal format, but should be really interesting. The documentary will be shown at the Full Frame Festival this weekend. Tune in at 8am Eastern!
Tashi Dorji and Nathan Bowles will be playing a benefit show for Durham for All this Friday at the Pinhook. The show will start early with doors at 7:00 so come start your Friday night off right!

La Plastique (https://laplastique.bandcamp.com/releases) is a trio whose sound fuses together keyboards and modular synth with electronically manipulated lap-slide guitar. Horse Lords will be joining legendary German experimental music pioneer Hans-Joachim Roedelius live on WXDU for an interview and collaborative in-studio performance on Thursday, March 23rd at noon. Roedelius will play a set at Kings on the 22nd and Horse Lords will play at Neptune's the night of the 23rd.
Perennial WXDU faves (and most prolific Triangle band ever) Al Riggs & the Big Sad will be performing live on the air this Sunday, February 26, starting at 4pm. Tune in!

WXDU is hiring new DJs for the spring semester. No prior experience is necessarry, just a willingness to explore new music and push your aesthetic boundaries. Come to our orientation to learn more about WXDU's goals and expectations while enjoying some free food (vegan options)! Anyone interested in musical or non-musical programming is welcome.
