Brave Exhibitions: The Australian Underground (1976-1986) Tonight 8-10pm

In the 1970's & 80's, Australia had one of the edgiest music scenes in the entire world.  Unfortunately, no one outside of the country paid too much attention to it.  Tonight, College Radio Primer dives head first into the freakish abyss that is Aussie punk/post-punk by focusing the bands that influenced generations to come (The Saints, Radio Birdman, The Birthday Party) as well as the underappreciated groups who were equally as exciting (Voigt/465, Primitive Calculators, Scattered Order, etc.).  Tune in and hear some of the most daring and original bands in rock history.  Tonight 8-10pm!!

We're Not Crazy: The No Wave Scene (1977-1983) 8-10pm Tonight!

Tonight, College Radio Primer focuses on the 2nd generation of weirdos and misfits that kept the NYC underground afloat after punk exploded across America.  Artists like Lydia Lunch, James Chance, Arto Lindsay and Glenn Branca created new and exciting ways to mix art with punk energy and created a scene that became breeding grounds for some of the most important alternative bands of the past 30 years, most notably Swans and Sonic Youth.   Tune in tonight!  8-10pm.
