WXDU Presents: Thee Cuckoo Mash!

WXDU Presents: Thee Cuckoo Mash!

October 26th, 9pm-1am at the Duke Coffeehouse

Duke University's radio station WXDU and Who's Got The Cuckoo (WXDU's weekly garage rock show), invites you to a free garage rock themed "Cuckoo Mash" costume and dance party at the Duke Coffeehouse, Saturday October 26th, 2013. A costume contest, tee-shirt giveaway, and horrifically fantastic food will be featured.  Hosted by WXDU DJs Nick, Robby, and Tom, they'll be spinning the best 50s and 60s Halloween-themed garage rock tunes. Local bands The Cryptics (60s garage rock) and Phatlynx (Link Wray-esque surfabilly) will also perform. Earlier that day at the Coffeehouse WXDU will also be hosing the Record Fair from 11am-4pm; it'll be a big day for record nerds of all ages!

Who's Got The Cuckoo is celebrating its 8th anniversary on the radio, and airs every Sunday night from 9-10pm, 88.7FM, www.wxdu.org.
