He is also the curator of the Alan Lomax&nbsp;Archive&nbsp;<a href="http://research.culturalequity.org/home-audio.jsp">research.culturalequity.org/home-audio.jsp</a></span></div> <div><span><br /> </span></div> <div><span>Local musican and all around bud to WXDU, Phil Cook, just released This Side Up on Trekky Records. As a part of Megafaun, Phil collaborated with&nbsp;</span>Fight the Big Bull and Justin Vernon to create Sounds of the South, a performance originally commissoned by Duke in 2010 that reinterpreted Alan Lomax field recordings.&nbsp;</div> <div><br /> </div> <div>Nathan and Phil will also be performing tonight at 118 Newell St. in Durham starting at 8:00.&nbsp;</div> <div><br /> </div> <div><span>Hope you tune in.
